On 01/06/2016 at 1320 hrs. joint ops party of 41ST Bn., SSB Ranidanga and 29th Bn. Thakurganj, arrested 01 person namely, Muti-ur-Rehman (34 yrs) s/o Muji-ur-Rehman (Suspected Bangladeshi) and seized FICN 1,500/- (Denomination 500x01 & 1000x01). The arrested person alongwith seized FICN have been handed over to Police Station, Naxalbari.

On 02/06/2016 at 2200 hrs. 41STBn., SSB Ranidanga, arrested 02 person namely, 1) Siddiqui s/o Rafiqul Mohammed r/o Vill- Jitupara, PS- Rajganj, Distt.- Jalpaiguri (WB) 2) Sayed Ibrahim (42 yrs.) s/o Hanifa Ibrahim r/o Vill- Manar, Chennai and seized Red Sandal wood- 974 kgs worth Rs-9,74,00,000/-.

On 04.06.16 at 1045 hrs. 53rd Bn. SSB, Simlabari (WB) made an unclaimed seizure of Lizard Tokey- 01 no. worth Rs. 20,00,000/- which was being smuggled within India. The seized Tokey Lizard has been handed over to Range office Jaldapara North.

On 06.06.2016 at 1540 hrs. 41st Bn SSB Ranidanga (WB), arrested 01 person namely, Pradhan Om Narayan (39 yrs) s/o Late. Harka Bahadur r/o Vill- Konkey Bong, PO- Railgaon, Distt.- Darjeeling (Assam) and seized Indian Currency Rs. 11,00,000/- near BP no. 48-49 (100 mtrs. Inside INB) which was being smuggled from India to Nepal.

On 23/06/2016 at 1500 hrs. 12th Bn Kishanganj (Bihar), arrested 01 person namely, Sanjiwan Kr, s/o Jai Jairam Singh, Gandhichauk, Kishangang (Bihar) and seized OPOIUM -940 gram for worth Rs. 18,80,000/-. The arrested person alongwith seized OPIUM has been handed over to Police Station- Powakhali (Bihar).
On 23/06/2016 at 0945 hrs. 7th Bn. Nanpara (UP), arrested 01 person namely, Durga Prasad Adhikari (62 yrs) s/o Lt Gaurya Prasad Adhikari, Vill- Bharta ward No 03, PS- Manmo, Gabisha- Majhmela, Distt- Kalikot (Nepal) and seized Non Electric detonator-38 nos, Safety fuse-29 feet & Indian Currencies 5,000/-. The arrested person alongwith seized items has been handed over to Police Station-Rupaidiha.
On 23/06/16 at 1600 hrs “F” Coy Kharagpur, 6th Bn., SSB Jamui along with civil police has arrested one hard core naxal namely, Pathak Thakur @ AkaluThakur (42 yrs) s/o Govardhan Thakur, Vill- Badaki Hathia, PS- Hawali Kharagpur. Apprehended naxal was wanted in Kharagpur kand case No 299/13 dated 18/12/13 Section 25 (1AA)/1-AAA/26/21/35 arms act 16/18/20/23 UAPA act. The arrested persons has been handed over to P.S- Hawali Kharagpur.
On 23.06.16 at 1030 hrs “A” Coy Nawada, 8th Bn Gaya (Bihar) along with Forest department and Nawada Police has arrested 14 persons and seized 10 Guns (12 Bore) Duble barrel-02, Single Barrel-08 and 52 rds (12 Bore). The arrested personnel have been handed over to Police Station- Rajauli, Nawada (Bihar).

On 25/06/2016 at 0840 hrs. 59th Bn Nanpara (UP), arrested 01 person namely, Ganesh Kuamr Verma s/o Chhote Lal Verma, r/o Vill- Chhedapur, Ward No- 03 PS- Guleriya, Distt- Bardiya, (Nepal) and seized Country Made Gun- 02 nos., Bharwa Barrel-01 no., Gun Rod- 03 nos., Gun Powder - 85 gms., Pellet (Iron)- 137 nos., Pellet log (Iron)- 25 nos, Khukhri- 02 nos., Patakha- 01 no., Pellet 21/2”- 01 no., Pellet - 4”- 01 no. and Cap- 13 nos. The arrested person alongwith seized items has been handed over to Police Station- Dharmapur (UP).
On 24/06/2016 at 0315 hrs. 15th Bn. Kajalgaon and 54th Bn. Bijni (Assam), arrested 01 person namely, Babulal Sarkar (33 yrs) s/o Kshitij Sarkar, Vill-02 nos, Bishnupur, PS- Panbari, Distt.- Chirang (Assam) and seized Country made Pistol- 01 no. The arrested person alongwith seized Pistol has been handed over to Police Station-Panbari.
On 24/06/16 at 0100 hrs a joint operation was conducted 15th Bn., SSB Kajalgaon along with 7th Sikh (army) & local police has arrested one suspected NDFB (s) cadre namely, Jordan Narzary (23 yrs), s/o Toirna Narzary, Vill- Dvikhroguri, PS- Amguri, Distt.- Chiran (Assam) in the General area of Manas Forest.

On 25.06.16 at 0030 hrs “G” Coy Kalapahar, 8th Bn Gaya (Bihar) along with local police has arrested 01 person Tamarej Khan (32 yrs) s/o Usman Khan r/o Vill- Suryapura, Ramnagar, PS- Tandwa, Distt.- Aurangabad (Bihar) and seized Desi Katta (315 Bore)- 01 no., Rds.- 03 nos. from his home. He is active supporter of Ainul Khan of CPI Maoist. The arrested person alongwith seized Arms/Ammn. has been handed over to Police Station- Tandwa, Aurangabad (Bihar).

On 27/06/2016 at 1400 hrs. 59th Bn Nanpara (UP), rescued 02 Nepalese women and appreheded 01 Nepalese trafficker namely Chitraman Dme (41 yrs) s/o Tej Bahadur Dme, r/o Vill- Manpada, Distt.- Tanhu, Nepal and seized following various currencies:-
1) Indian Currency- Rs. 2100/-
2) Bangladeshi Currency- Taka- 12/-
3) Saudi Arabia Currency- Riyal-01/-
4) Nepali currency- Rs. 1087/-
5) Philippines Currency- Picso-20/-
6) UAE Currency- Dirham- 15/-
7) Qatar Currency- Riyal-01/-
8) Mobile- 01 no.
The rescued women alongwith arrested trafficker have been handed over to NGO Tiny Hands (Nepal) and Human trafficking Cell Bahraich (UP).
